New Department of Education Title IX Regulations - GW Community Response

Please note that no changes have been made to George Washington University's Sexual and Gender-Based Harassment and Interpersonal Violence Policy. The Office of Advocacy and Support is working with other University stakeholders to discuss what these new Title IX Regulations from the Department of Education mean for our policies and our community. When there are official updates and changes made, we will share those with you via our website.

Please note that The Office of Advocacy and Support is considered to be a confidential resource, so the identifying information you share with us will not be shared without your permission. However, our limits to confidentiality include disclosures of harm to self, harm to others, and child/vulnerable adult abuse. If you share this information, OAS may have to break confidentiality due to safety concerns and would alert you if this was a step we needed to take.
The non-identifying information on this form will be shared with university stakeholders, including Title IX, to inform the drafting and implementation of any policy changes.
