To Receive Your Certificate of Completion
To receive full credit for the session, participants must join no later than 10 minutes after the training has begun and stay for the duration. Certificates will be made available at the end of the session.

Case studies are not the focus of this training, and therefore real-life incidents will not be the focus. However, some past incidents may be referred to directly or indirectly when responding to questions or using to provide examples. Instead, the focus is on:

- Will the training involve any live demonstrations, exercises, or simulations?

No, the training will not involve any demonstrations, exercises, or simulations. The training is discussion-based.
- Will there be any audiovisual material?

The training does not include any audiovisual material intended to simulate an active shooter incident or law enforcement response. Video clips used in this training are recordings of public and academic spaces on Foggy Bottom campus during normal business hours. They do not feature actors portraying active shooters, victims, or law enforcement personnel. They also do not include any audio. Instead, videos and images are intended to represent actionable preparedness techniques and survival tips. Graphs illustrating statistical data are also included.
