Tamara Washington (she/her)

Tamara serves as the Assistant Director for the Office of Advocacy & Support. Tamara both meets with community members confidentially as they embark upon their healing and provides prevention education focused on addressing and disrupting oppression, the root cause of violence and harm. 

Tamara works from an intersectional and anti-oppressive lens in her efforts to proactively create equitable and humanizing practices and policies for those who are marginalized. As a result, Tamara engages in critical discourses and utilizes decolonizing methodologies to disrupt masternarratives that ignore the impact of systems of domination and resistance on meaning making and healing.
